About Shareen Nash

I grew up in Zimbabwe, a country with incredibly beautiful and diverse landscapes, where I enjoyed the outdoors, sports, family and friends. In my mid-twenties, my husband Richard and I managed wildlife photographic camps in the Okavango Delta, Botswana for a few years. This was the beginning of a heartfelt attachment to this country, people, wildlife and pristine wilderness areas. Following a year abroad, we returned to Maun, Botswana, and continued working in various tourism related businesses.

We have since moved to Australia with our two daughters where we enjoy the stunning coastline, vibrant cities and have explored much of this beautiful country. My work as a Travel Consultant allowed me extensive travel around the world and showed me landscapes, cultures, architecture and amazing sights that I am very grateful for, plus has fuelled my creative spirit.

I am a passionate photographer, specializing in nature both in Africa and Australia, and completed the ‘Diploma of Photography & Digital Imaging’ at Northbridge TAFE, Perth in 2022.

I have been escorting an annual small group mobile safari since 2011, mainly to northern Botswana. It is an enriching experience camping in the African bush, listening to the night sounds, feeling at peace with the natural environment, watching the magnificent wildlife and birdlife from an open vehicle and eating delicious meals cooked on an open fire. To journey through vastly changing landscapes with knowledgeable and friendly guides, then recount tales from the day around an open fire is a very special experience.
